Hello, has anyone else applied to Texas Tech El Paso for Fall 2016? (my first time applying)
I received the background check email today! I also went to meet with Gretchen because I had a lot of questions about what to expect the next few months. I really recommend meeting with her! We won't have orientation until August, but we have a weeklong preprofessional series in mid-July. I think we should start a Facebook group...I could start one if y'all are interested!
Helo everyone!
congrats on getting accepted to TTHSC GGHSON ! I am going to start taking courses this summer (my prerequisites) I already have a BS and I am hoping to start applying by the end of fall 2016. I have been trying to do some research on the nursing schools in the area in regards to the pros/cons of the programs (BSN) and I have not been able to find a lot of Information. I was hoping to get people's opinions on TTHSC GGHSON vs UTEP and even NMSU if someone has something to say based on what you have seen or heard from 'insiders' I have been comparing the courses and the tests you need (Hesi vs TEAS) in order to be able to apply but I have not found anything in regards to the pros and cons from each program.
Thanks in Advance and best of luck next semester!
I remember being in the same boat as you all, so anxious to start! I am on my second semester in GGHSON. Congratulations to you all! Good luck and even though I am sure you have heard this a million times, READ!! As soon as you get all your syllabus start the reading assignments!! FYI, buy your books used or rent...( i would only suggest you buy the foundations books for future reference). The only book we were required to have an access code was for Communications class. Oh and one last thing... Get all the sleep, and family time possible now before the semester begins!! Good luck!!!
