Texas Tech El Paso Fall 2016

Hello, has anyone else applied to Texas Tech El Paso for Fall 2016? (my first time applying)

Yea mine was pretty informal as well. I had a finance personal and a student for my interview. They asked 5 questions total and only 1 was difficult with no right or wrong answer. I don't like the thought of having a different interview panel, but I think this is the first year they are trying it out. Being a rather new program they are still working some stuff out.

Was anyone told after the interview when they should expect to hear back ?

They said anywhere from 10-15 business days from the interview. That means sometime this week, hopefully lol

I received contingent admission! I'm taking a class, so as long as I get a C or better (I have an 87).

So if accepted we'd get "contingent admission" email, since technically we have to wait for the background check to clear right ?

Yes, and any pre-requisites that you may have left to take.
