Texas Tech BSN Spring 2019

Published

Hi!

I am applying for the Texas Tech HSC Traditional BSN program, Spring 2019. Is anyone else also? What are your stats (GPA, TEAS, supplemental items, etc). Just wanted to get a page started so anyone/everyone can answer and ask any potential questions they have!

Here are my stats (they're not the best but I'm doing my best!)

GPA: 3.672

TEAS: 79.3 (Going to retake it for a better score!)

Reading 83

Math 93.8

Science 68.1

English 75

I also have a resume and 3 letters of recommendation sent in.

What about everyone else?

Hey there which campus are you applying for? I am applying for Odessa Spring 2019.

I'm applying for Lubbock first choice and Abilene second choice. But I heard that you get results back from Abilene first and if you if you accept it then they just cancel your application for Lubbock! And if you reject Abilene, then there's also a chance that you didn't get into Lubbock so you end up with neither. So I'm a bit worried.

So do you go to Texas Tech University right now? Or another school?

Hey! I applied to the BSN at TTUHSC for Spring 2019 for Lubbock as first choice and Abilene as a second choice. I have a 3.67 GPA and made an 85 on the TEAS. I am currently at TTU and hope I get into the Lubbock location!

Hi elarvin!

Your scores are really great! I hope you get into Lubbock. I'm also hoping to get into Lubbock as well because I'm also an undergraduate student at TTU. Are you taking classes at TTU for this Fall?

Yes!! I'm taking Chem, Pathophysiology, Nutrition, & Nurse Communications! What about you?

I'm taking MBIO, Lifespan human development, Medical Terminology, and Pathophysiology as well! I'm pretty sure we will be in the same class for Patho since there is just one course time.

I know the application doesn't close until August the 31st, but has anyone heard anything about interviews yet?

Hey ashleycst! No, I haven't heard anything yet. And I don't know anyone else who has.

Thanks for the quick response! The waiting has been sooo long!

No problem! And I know, the waiting part seems almost just as nerve-wracking as the actual application part. All I know is the responses seems to come in 2 waves. So if when the first wave comes around and you didn't hear anything, no worries, because you're probably part of the second wave of applicants and will hear from them soon too.

Do you have patho at 4 on M & W??
