I’m not sure if it’s too early to start this thread, but anyone on here planning on applying to Texas Tech’s Second Degree program in May?

I recorded my interview, so I'm sharing what I was told by the directors of the VBSN program and Austin cohort. This might be another subtle difference between the veteran and 2nd-degree sections. (I fall under the VBSN umbrella of the ABSN program)

I’m in the VBSN umbrella as well. I’m not sure why we got different information but it would be nice to find out on the 17th. Good luck to you!
Hey for anyone who is feeling discouraged about not receiving an interview invite yet I have some good news! I just completed my interview and we were told that there are in fact going to be 2 waves. Per the interview staff, there is no difference between the first and second waves. One wave is not considered stronger than the other, they just have so many applications they haven't had a chance to process all of them yet. So stay positive!! ?
@kwilson15 I'm in the same boat as you. I feel like everything they asked, I practiced, but being put on the spot managed to trip me up. I don't feel as though it was a terrible interview, I just know it wasn't the strongest. There's nothing to do now but hope for the best LOL. Best of luck to those with upcoming interviews!
What cities did you apply for?

Yes! And also (MODERATOR EDIT OF NAME) said we should have word in 1 to 2 weeks so keep your momentum!!
@DeliriousMelody Did she say that acceptance letters would be split up into two waves like interviews? Like the first wave will hear back in 1 to 2 weeks and the second wave will hear something?
