Wanted to start a thread for those applying to the Spring 2019 program.

What location will you be applying to? Anyone else in Austin?

Any information/advice from current students is appreciated!

Side note: I totally dig the red scrubs. :inlove: Haha

The email didn't come from tech but did reference the Texas Board of Nurse Examiners. So I wasn't sure if anybody else received this email, I know admissions was having problems with my email address, and I called them to check the status of invites, but the person said they send emails even if you didn't get one l, so I was curious if anybody got one of those as well or if I need to call admissions about maybe my email, I've checked the spam email as well.

I think it's worth checking with Tech if they've had trouble with your email before. Usually schools submit rosters to the BON once they know who has accepted their admission letter.

Well, they called me for an interview.

I only got the email for the invite back on the 27th, nothing about fingerprints or a background check.

I got it from "IdentoGO Service Confirmation - Texas Board of Nurse Examiners".

I used Gmail for all the communications. I have different tabs for my emails, and it came under Updates tab.

Hey y'all! New to this forum but would love some feedback on this:

So long story short, there was an issue with receiving my TEAS score and a miscommunication within their program, and they weren't going to send me an interview invite until I randomly decided to call them today and ask about it. I got it cleared up (since I hadn't made a mistake on my end) and they gave me the interview. It was one of the only openings they had left (Wednesday the 29th) since they skipped past my application because of the overdue scores, and I'm wondering if having such a late interview/having these issues is going to affect my acceptance?

I applied to the Dallas cohort with Austin as my second choice.

Soon-to-be Baylor University grad, previously Pre-Med with a degree in Medical Humanities

TEAS score: 92.7

GPA: 3.55

I know there's not much to know right now, so I guess I'm just wondering if anyone thinks this whole situation and having a late interview will minimize my chances of being accepted?

Also: the supplemental items don't all need to be completed until admission into the program in January, correct?

I also got an email for a background check/fingerprints. Are you all that got it applying to UTA as well?

I don't think it will effect your chances. I think the ones that are going to interview do not know about this miscommunication. By the way what supplemental items are you missing?
