Wanted to start a thread for those applying to the Spring 2019 program.

What location will you be applying to? Anyone else in Austin?

Any information/advice from current students is appreciated!

Side note: I totally dig the red scrubs. :inlove: Haha

Heyo, I'm currently in the Lubbock cohort. I've got a stack of books in great shape if anyone wants them. I'm asking $200, stack's worth about $400. Includes: Physical Examination & Health Assessment, Fundamentals of nursing, APA manual, Professional Nursing Concepts, and three small novel-type books used in later semesters. I'm not gonna ship, so this is really just for Lubbock peeps!

Hey y'all!

I'm a current student in the Lubbock cohort about to graduate in a couple of weeks. First off, congrats to all those who were accepted! You're in for a REAL... treat. ANYWAY. I just wanted to reach out and let y'all know that word is the program is potentially offering mentors for the new students. These mentors are recent graduates (like me and emma ^ up there). From my experience this is something I really wish they offered at the beginning of my year so if ANYONE has any questions as of now and needs some guidance (I know a lot of us did) just let me know! I am happy to help :)

OH.. and I too will be selling my uniforms/supplies for cheap!!

Good luck to all of you & wreck 'em!

Hi there! I just wanted to know if you could give us a rough estimate of how much the textbooks cost for the entire program? Like how much would you say that you spent in a semester just on textbooks?

Thank you!!

So, first semester was definitely the most expensive.. roughly around $600-$800, maybe more. Just depends on how good of a shopper you are.

The last two semesters are around $100-$300... if you RENT.

Highly suggest renting books, because they're all hella expensive and a lot of the books we didn't even use or really didn't even need to use them.
