Wanted to start a thread for those applying to the Spring 2019 program.

What location will you be applying to? Anyone else in Austin?

Any information/advice from current students is appreciated!

Hi there! I have been accepted into the Abilene cohort as well. Congrats!! I live in Abilene right now but could be moving to Dallas in the next few months as I will be getting married and possibly moving. I have been in contact with a current student of the program right now and she has informed me that it is definitely doable and the students that are commuting are doing fine, some are even at the top of the class. Do you know if there has been a Facebook page started for the Abilene cohort? I haven't seen very many replies about the Abilene campus. Again, congrats!

Hi all! I live in Dallas and was accepted into the Abilene cohort. Relocating isn't an option for me. In my interview, the faculty mentioned that a couple students in this year's program were commuting from Dallas to Abilene for their clinicals each week and that it was doable. Anyone else in the same boat? If so, would love to chat with you!

Thanks so much, and congrats to you as well (on your acceptance and upcoming wedding)!!! I really appreciate the information - good to know that it's doable and that the students aren't hindered by the commute. It looks like "TexasTechNurse" is planning on creating a FB Group - just need to leave our emails.
