Texas Tech-Accelerated BSN Spring 2020

I haven't seen a thread for those of us applying May 1st to the January 2020 cohort. I'm wondering how heavily they weigh the TEAS. Also, I have heard as long as you meet all criteria they typically give you an interview. Has anyone else heard this? I really like how they take a holistic approach to grant admissions. I'm wanting to apply to UTA but I feel like the main way you get extra points is by attending school there which I did not do! We'll see!

I called and she placed me on hold and got Elizabeth to come and speak with me. However, I did e-mail them and ask for a transcript evaluation to ensure that they had all of my classes accounted for.

Are we suppose to receive a confirmation email once we have signed up for an interview? I didn’t receive anything. The email states we must confirm if we accept or decline an interview invitation.. is signing up for an interview date mean we are “accepting” the invitation or do we have to email them back?

Fyi for anyone doing an on-site interview, I just spoke w Elizabeth re attire... I'm coming directly from work, so asked if scrubs would be "professional"... She said no... She said church or business attire is what is expected...

No I haven't. Is a background check a requirement? I'm pretty sure it is, but I don't remember. Do you have a spot for it in your status portal?
