Texas Tech-Accelerated BSN Spring 2020

I haven't seen a thread for those of us applying May 1st to the January 2020 cohort. I'm wondering how heavily they weigh the TEAS. Also, I have heard as long as you meet all criteria they typically give you an interview. Has anyone else heard this? I really like how they take a holistic approach to grant admissions. I'm wanting to apply to UTA but I feel like the main way you get extra points is by attending school there which I did not do! We'll see!

Ok both of you are Austin so maybe there’s some reason to not hear!

I’m Odessa, so maybe they haven’t announced Austin yet? I think that’s the largest cohort... Hoping everyone gets good news soon!

I'm in the same boat as some of you:

I submitted my app to the Dallas cohort 5/24 and sent transcripts

All green boxes were officially checked off, including transcripts received 6/12

Never got a transcript eval and haven't heard anything on interviews either. ??

And aja and drmgrl... Reading through last year's forum a few people didn't receive their invites for a few different reasons:

-Name change from marriage... there were two accounts created so it was showing stuff wasn't completed...

-Some people's went to their spam, so double check!

...My transcript eval came from Elizabeth Martinez and my interview email came from TTUHSC/SON.

I never received a transcript evaluation but I did receive an interview invitation.

Just spoke with them. My cumulative GPA was a 2.99. Good luck in all your interviews!
