I haven't seen a thread for those of us applying May 1st to the January 2020 cohort. I'm wondering how heavily they weigh the TEAS. Also, I have heard as long as you meet all criteria they typically give you an interview. Has anyone else heard this? I really like how they take a holistic approach to grant admissions. I'm wanting to apply to UTA but I feel like the main way you get extra points is by attending school there which I did not do! We'll see!
@kantwine! Talked to Cindy this morning, she said they send it out really early, but not due til the start of the program! Also there’s 3 different ways they contact you 1. Email 2. Blue card by mail 3. Approval letter because they already have your info.
I worked and volunteer with kids so I think my stuff is already on file for the state and that’s why I didn’t get the email! Hope that helps!

I was starting to panic too. I think the email is if you’re not in their system, blue card is if you’re in the system but maybe need something updated (guessing on that one?) and the approval letter is if you’re good to go (or once you’ve completed the other two). Cindy said not to panic, just keep an eye out for it, and get it done before the start.
