Texas Tech Accelerated BSN Program Spring 2017

Published

Hello everyone! I currently submitted my application for my bachelor's in Nursing at Texas Tech in El Paso. I have a 4.0 GPA in my sciences, I got a 75 on my HESI, and I have no experience on medical field other than me having my CNA and my clinicals. It's really hard to get a job as CNA or volunteer hours in El Paso, in my opinion. I decided to post on here since there's not a post for Texas Tech BSN Spring 2017. Hopefully we can all let each other know when we get contacted for interviews and if we get accepted into the program and become friends:) Goodluck everyone!

Hi guys

Super excited my interview is oct 7th too

Doesanyone know how many people they are interviewing and how many slots they have open?

Hey there :) Congrats on the interview!

I have no idea, but I know on a thread for students who applied to start Fall 2016 a poster had asked Ms. Gretchen about how many people they were interviewing and how many seats they had open.

I'm sure you can contact Ms. Gretchen and ask her! :)

@Breytiful That is actually exactly what I meant! Sorry guys I have been MIA I had clinicals last week for my CNA, that most definitely kept me busy!

Can't wait to see everyone else at the interview! Let me know if anyone contacts her about positions available I am curious about that too! Does anyone know what they are wearing?? Weird question but I thought I would ask Lol.

Hi Everyone,

Congratulations to everyone! I applied for the TTUHSC - Permian Basin location and received my interview invite two days ago. When you guys got your email, did it state anything about arriving 15-20 minutes early to complete a project? That's what mine told me and it has me very curious.

hey maggie,

i dont believe so! we are supposed to get a confirmation email today withany additional details. ill keep ya updated if we are told about a project.

we're supposed to receiving a confirmation email???

I got an email confirming my date. It said to arrive 15-20 min early but didn't mention anything about a project.

Do y'all plan on taking copies of your resume/ personal statement?

Just a thought

I received my acceptance letter yesterday to the Permian basin location. I'm pretty relieved but nervousness too. This will be the first time I haven't had a job in 13 years.

Congrats! That is awesome!!

So nervous! Has anyone interviewed yet?

I was super nervous!!! Good luck to all of us!!!
