Texas State University PMHNP MSN Fall 2021

Hi! I just applied to the Tx State PMHNP programs for Fall 2021. Haven't heard anything back, of course. Thought there might be others with questions too. If anyone has been in another class for this program, how long from the app deadline did they take to give you a decision? Are you able to continue working full time (M-F, 8-5) while in the program full time?  How do the clinical placements work and what is the clinical schedule like? Thanks in advance!

@April Lowther I applied for fall 2021 too! I haven’t heard anything back yet. They said FT is 5 semester so it seems like it’s going to be a lot!

Had the group interview on Monday. 4 prospective students, 2 administrators. They were pretty basic questions. Why do you want to be a PMHNP, how will you balance work and school, ect.  It was really pretty chill and informative. They said we should hear back by mid-March. 
 

They emailed me with the interview dates last week, so check your email and spam folder.

Hi!  I interviewed Friday and they sent me an acceptance email on Monday afternoon. 
Is anyone from the Austin area?
