Texas State- St. David’s School of Nursing 2019 applicants

Published

Hi all,

I just wanted to start a general conversation thread for applicants to the St. David’s school of nursing program at Texas State for fall of 2019.

If you applied to the program, please leave a comment! How was everyone’s experience during the process?!

That's really good girl!

I think you have a great chance!

Let us pray ??? lol

Hi all!

I also applied to start in the Fall of 2019! Already so tired of waiting! I'm not sure how I'm going to last all the way until March to find out!

My stats for the TEAS: (only took it 1 time)

-overall: 92.7

-science: 89.4

-math: 96.9

-reading: 91.5

-english: 95.8

Omggggggg you’re so gonna get in!!

overall-88.7

science-95.7

reading-83

math-93.8

english-75

that was my first time taking it too. I’m not happy with my English score but I only had 2 days to study and took it Jan. 14th I’m really hoping my gpa and essay counts for something but of course I found a few grammar errors on my essay >_< my overall gpa is 3.58 and science is 4.0

Hey everyone! I saw this thread a few days ago and finally decided to post in it, haha! I mailed in my application on Jan 15th and got the email saying they received my app on Jan 25th. I haven't gotten my background check email yet, but I know it should be here soon! I'm a transfer from Sam Houston State University, and I'll be finishing up with all my prerequisites after this semester.

It's driving me crazy having to wait until March, but I'm hopeful!

Good luck to everyone!

Welcome! ?

Soooo I just got an email today to set up a fingerprinting appointment ?

Thank you!

I got my email for the fingerprinting appointment today, too! ?

I just got my email for the fingerprinting today!

Hey guys!

Got my fingerprinting done today!

Just realized I may be paying around $250 to get rejected from this school ?????

Lmaoooo yeah I have spent soooo much money ???? I have an appointment on Friday to get it done did it take a long time? Or was it a quick appointment?

It was pretty quick and painless. My appointment was at 10:20 and I was out by like 10:35 or so.

They just scan your fingers a few times and get a quick picture and you're done.
