Hello everyone! I've currently paid a deposit to attend an ABSN program local to me starting in fall 2018; however, my husband and I found out recently we might be moving to Texas. We're looking mostly around the Dallas or Houston area, but the move wouldn't be until the end of this year if it happens. I've noticed from my research that many ABSN programs in Texas have lengthy pre-reqs to satisfy the Texas core curriculum. I was curious if anyone had any suggestions on where I could take some classes like Texas government or federal government online? I've found NTCC as one option, but would love to hear options from others as I'm sure I'm not the first person to move from out of state looking to work on these pre-reqs.

I took online classes at Midwestern State University, and I really enjoyed it. The school is super affordable, and the classes were super easy.
Great thank you!

Some schools have partnership with things like Straighterline.com or study.com, which can help get some (equivalent) courses out of the way. Ask your enrollment counsellor if they have such a partnership.
