UTHSC Fall 2015 Applications

Hi Chelsea222. Yes, i have been looking for a thread for UTHSC fall 2015 applicants as well, but didn't find nothing until now. :) I think ill be taking my Hesi in a couple of weeks. I should be submitting my transcript tomorrow. I am so nervous!

My stats are:

Science GPA: 4.0

overall GPA: 3.85

Hi there! Yup, I'm applying as well :) Been having issues with one of my schools sending their transcript though...

Science GPA: 3.6

Overall GPA: 3.7

HESI: 95% Overall

Good luck everyone! I took the Hesi on Saturday and it wasn't as bad as I thought. I scored a 92.8 overall and an 880 for the critical thinking section. There is a little issue with my transcript that's needs to be fixed before I send it. I'm excited and nervous! I don't know how I am going to wait until March/April! Are you guys applying anywhere else?

Hi there! I am applying for the Fall 2015 semester but I probably won't get in with my GPA. I hadn't planned on applying in the Fall but I have all my prereqs done and am just hoping for the best.

Overall GPA: 3.3

Science GPA. 3.5

I just need to take HESI A2 and send out one last transcript. Can i submit the UTHSC application without the HESI score?

Hi Chance13, yes you can submit the application without the HESI score. If you registered to take the HESI through UTH, the score will automatically be reported to them once you take the test (I had the same question while I was taking mine).

Does anyone know if they accept high school AP credits? I couldn't find any information on their website and I'm trying to see if I need to take a mini-mester.

I registered for distance testing through the evolve website with the schools code and it just says I am registered to take it between 01/1/14 and 12/31/14. Can anyone help me on what to do for registering for the HESI? Thanks in advance

Hi Chancec13,

Since you registered at the evolve website with the school's code, you are almost done. You should have received an email telling you to "go to https://www.prometric.com/elsevier and click the Start button to Schedule." From there, you can register for your exact testing date at the testing center closest to you.

So glad somebody finally started a Fall '15 thread!

I have a 3.5 overall and 3.8 science GPA.

Overall HESI score was 89% and 960 on Critical Thinking.

Has anybody applied to this school before? The next 4-5 months are going to be the longest wait ever.

The cost actually varies a little bit depending on which school you take it through, but I believe that if you took it through UTH, it was about 40$. I have seen costs as high as 55$ as well.
