TWU Spring 2010

Is anyone out there applying to TWU for the Spring of 2010? Just thought that I would start a group for all of us hopefuls so we could share information and have a way to communicate with each other.

Have you taken your HESI A2 yet? Have you taken all of your pre-reqs? If not, what do you have left to take?

I have taken all of my pre-reqs, and I just took my HESI yesterday. I didn't think it was bad at all, but I prepared for it for about 3 weeks.

If you haven't noticed, TWU has made some slight changes that I think some people will not be happy with. They are taking into consideration the first grade made at pre-req attempts for several of the classes like A&P, micro, and another class. What do you think of this? I wonder how it will change the applicants chances of getting in?

I grew up in the Houston area for 25 years and now live in Spring(going on three years). Which is outside of houston. I will be traveling 45mins to get to school but anyone have any questions PM and i can find out for you or let you know what i already my know.

I went to an open house back in April and it seem like a general informational. Talked about prerequisites, transcripts, HESI, the school and other similar things to recruit interest to the school. Has anyone been to any recent Houston open houses?

Dallas acceptees, I went to the nursing office today to get a little more info. They informed me that the packets go out after they get the acceptance letters, so I went ahead and turned in my confirmation form. I am going to attend the program part-time and they said that they accept 5 students each session to do part-time so if anyone else is considering get your form in there are 4 spots left! You can start out in the part-time and move to full time. This is a great option to have:yeahthat:Just wanted to share that in case you were unaware that this existed.

Looks like I was accepted after all! I found out Tuesday. SuperSweet, I am also going to attend part-time.

i was at the last houston open house...October 24th i think. it was the exact same thing. didn't really help me with my decision at all

letters or information packets? i received my acceptance letter, which was identical to the email, the other day

I received it through the email, and then I called them this morning. They said they already mailed out the acceptance letter.
