Help on RN-MSN process

  1. Ok... right now I am in an RN program at San Antonio College. I eventually want to get a BSN and MSN at the UT health science center SA. When I graduate and become a RN, which route is a better route to take RN-BSN or RN-MSN early master's degree!?!? What is the difference between the two? Is it better to take the 2 semesters to get my BSN and then go back to get my MSN? OR go straight to the MSN? Can someone give me some info about the RN-MSN process? IM CONFUSED!!!

I have not heard of an RN-MSN program. I thought you had to go from BSN then to MSN. There are certain requirements that you have to have before getting the MSN that you will get when you get your BSN. I just got my BSN at a program that was RN-BSN. Now I am looking at the MSN program. Good luck.

From what I hear, someof your BSN credits go towards the MSN program, which gives you a jump start and a faster track.

it essentially lets you skip 2 or 3 classes - classes which those I know who skipped them, said later they wished they had taken.
