El Centro Fall 2018

I will be applying to the fall 2018 semester at El Centro. I am excited but also nervous that I might not have enough points. How many points will everyone else be applying with?

I will have 31 points. If I added correctly: I worried it's not enough. They give credit for the scit classes if it was before 2015 and they said we get credit for the HPRS. So I'm hoping it comes out to 31. I'm nervous tho, but atleast I applied. I am also applying to LVN school. I assume mailed my application in with a tracking number so I hope it gets there okay!

I heard they are taking either ones. Do you may have 36. It bumps me up to 31.

Hey guys I'm applying for Fall 2018 RN program too! I was wondering for those who have taken the HESI, I read on the El Centro website that if we test at the paramount center, they provide a calculator? I've taken the HESI before but there was no calculator allowed, so I'm curious to see if this is different!

There is a calculator but it is on the screen as you go through the test for the math portion. The calculator is a basic type.

Does anyone know why the deadline was extended? Im guessing maybe there weren't enough application? I also retract my initial post, looks like I applied with 33 points. The days are dragging

The deadline wasn't extended. January 31st is the deadline for Fall applicants. July 15th is the deadline for Spring applicants. I think they list out the time periods in the packet online for each application period if you want clarification.

I'm taking my HESI on Tuesday, I have taken it before but not the A&P portion. Does anyone have any advice?! I've been studying online study guides along with a book I bought, but I'm super nervous about it!

Did you guys get the email requesting to send health records? I was emailed last night, looks like they're using Sentry MD.

I received mine but do we not have to submit the other forms aside from our personals docs (vaccine record)?

I submitted my vaccine record and my physical today to sentry MD. I received an email back saying my health records are complete. I would assume I just sit back and wait till April time frame for the acceptance letters.
