Texas Health Resources Residency February 2013

Hi Everyone

I know all the Texas Health Hospitals are in the process of hiring their new grads for February 2013 and I wanted to see if anyone got a job offer?

I will be working for the Emergency Department at Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital HEB and id love to get to know people who will be working at that hospital or any of the Texas Health hospitals!

Im moving from California! Id like to move to Dallas!

I got an offer for the ICU residency program. Yes an essay is required if you're selected to interview.

How long did it take you to receive an interview? I just filled out the personality assessment on monday

How long does it generally take until someone gets a job offer from one of these residency programs? I went through 3 interviews and a shadow day about 2 weeks ago and I still haven't heard anything back. They said they were very interested and would be in touch. Should I wait longer? Should I call HR? I feel bad now, like they were pulling my leg. :unsure:

I took me maybe a couple of weeks to get an interview and then they were interviewing for an entire month. You should probably call HR and see how long they are conducting interviews for. I interviewed at the end of the month and then it took about a week for me to get the offer.

They been interviewing for about 2 months now. I called them and they claimed that it was a large amount of people they have been interviewing. Guess that explains the long wait. :/

Congrats on the ER position! I got the ICU residency at the same hospital. I guess I'll bump into you at orientation. I have worked here at the hospital for a good while and it's a wonderful place to work and the people are awesome! Tight knit crews. Again, congrats.

I like THR, been here over 3 years. Started the versant residency at THR and I'm still here. My hospital-Arlington already hired some people for feb residency like two months ago. @LMG RN why will you want to live in Dallas and commute to HEB? Dallas traffic is horrible also it depends on the shift u will be working. I don't know if you are familiar with the areas but there are nice nearby neighborhoods you can consider. Good luck guys.

Well Im from LA and San Francisco so Im use to pretty bad traffic but I dont know anyone in Texas and need a roommate so I figured it would be easiest to find someone in Dallas. I also dont really want to move by myself and live in the suburbs :/
