Haven't seen a post about the July 2016 THR Versant Residency Program so thought I would start something! ​Has anyone heard back? I applied about a week ago and received a phone screen form to fill out.

If anyone has and information about the interviewing process and the residency program, please share! Thank you and good luck to everyone who applied!

I'm commuting from Allen/Plano to Dallas.

I did my employee health appt/contract signing about 2 weeks ago. HR also told me shoe policy is no open toe, and that I'd get an email around the 20th with info about orientation in Arlington.

Ohh wow yeah your definitely further than me in the process.

I'm very excited!! I got to go NICU in clinicals. During nursing school and it was amazing!

Thats great you have family to stay with! What unit will you be working on?

Okay that's good to know ! I'm sure they will send out all the info soon!

Ohhh cool!!! Are you driving or taking public transportation? Would you possibly be interested in maybe carpooling ?

My contract and everything signed this week and then I guess I'll just have to wait for the schedule! So exciting!! What unit will you be joining ?

Does anybody know anything about our first day of work, July 25? I was told it was just orientation in Arlington but haven't heard anything else about it

They told me they would send out an email around the 20th. Business casual first day, maybe two, then scrubs the rest of the week. Monday-Friday 8-5

Hello, this thread actually popped up when I was googling something, but it looks like you guys can help me. I have recently filled out an application for the residency for September and I cannot figure out where to find the application status and it is driving me nuts! I received the questions for GN program and sent them back and received the email stating that the application was complete! So, where do I find this info??? Thanks!

Hello everyone! I have received an offer for Harris Methodist in Fort Worth also for July 2016 , I am very excited! I am wondering if any of you that will also be a part of the July 2016

residency will be commuting from the north Dallas area such as Allen Plano McKinney or any areas close to that?!

Hello chelsy!!! I would be happy to!!! I was interviewed by the nurse manager and nurse supervisor. They asked me questions like "tell me about yourself", "why do you want to work in NICU" " how would you react if you had a disagreement with another coworker" or vice versa! They were super nice and very very inviting! They even gave me a unit tour and told me about what I would be doing. It was honestly the most inviting and informative interview I have ever had! Just be yourself!!!! :) anymore questions just ask!:)

Awesome!! Thank you so much! Its great to hear that they are very inviting, it eases my nerves a little bit! Do you know how many people they accept for the residency program? How fast did you hear back from them after the interview? How long would you say your interview was? Did they ask and questions specifically relating to the NICU? How long was your portfolio essay and did they actually read it during the interview? Thanks again!
