Just wanted to start a thread about the GN residency that THR just opened up. Hoping we can keep each other updated on the application process (application status, interviews, job offers). Good luck!

Has anyone heard about plano L&D? What is everyone's status? Mine is still in review process.

I had an interview last week at Plano L&D and my status still says "interviewing." Anxiously waiting to hear from them!

Is there a facebook group for new GN's in residency program for THR Dallas?

same my L&D and NICU still say reviewing...but doubtful since they have had interviews

they did open up some new positions for Dallas and Cleburne if you all are interested:)

I applied when the app opened in February. I'm graduating in May with BSN

My status just turned to filled for Plano positions. Never got past "forwarded to hiring manager". Plano was my first preference location. I only got contacted for a Ft. Worth NICU interview but didn't get the one position they had open. That makes all my apps with THR filled. I filled out apps on the first day and have my BSN. So that's a little disappointing.

Dang. I'm sorry! It is disappointing. One of my classmates said residency's are only open for graduates up to six months after graduating so now that none of the summer cohorts worked out and I graduated in December, I'm not sure what else to do.
