Decided to start a thread about the February 2018 GN Residency with THR since I could not find one. The applications opened on Sept. 30 and I applied to anything ICU/PCU related lol. Anyone else out there that has applied and is just waiting for that "CONSIDERING" status to change to something else???
Are you applying to med surg positions as well? You might have a better shot than the highly competitive ICU/CCU floors. I know 3 ADN friends who are currently in the THR residency at different hospitals. One in PCU and the other 2 on med surg. It IS possible. Keep checking their website for openings because people decline at the last minute and they just want to get the spots filled. Good luck!! :)
Yeah I went back and applied for a few that opened back up and in total applied to 27 different ones from Med Surg to Tele, PCU and ICU and about two hours ago they emailed me rejection letters for the remaining Med Surg and PCU that I had applied for so I'm all tapped out at this point. I did goto a interview in Baytown yesterday but I did set up alerts for THR and will even apply after passing boards. It does make me feel some kind of way when you get 27 letters saying no lol but I am a firm believer things happen for a reason, but I am extremely excited for everyone here that did get an interview and a position THR will have some awesome nurses coming with fresh skills and ideas so I hope they are ready
Hi I just submitted, my application for 5 positions and didn't realize that for the 3 documents they wanted resume, essay, transcript, I did that except not the resume instead I uploaded my recommendation letter for all applications since they asked to upload resume in the beginning... Should I apply all over!???
