Decided to start a thread about the February 2018 GN Residency with THR since I could not find one. The applications opened on Sept. 30 and I applied to anything ICU/PCU related lol. Anyone else out there that has applied and is just waiting for that "CONSIDERING" status to change to something else???

Oh that's nerve racking! You will definitely hear back from THR before december.

I know!! :(

I was offered a position for THR Plano this evening. Super excited! Cant wait to hurry up; graduate and pass the NCLEX now. I can see the light at the end of the tunnel.

When they offered you the position was it through email or did the recruiter call you? I am just trying to see where to be on the look out because I had 2 interview this past week with THR and they both said I should hear by monday.

It isn't November and just wondering if anyone knows the last day for interviews, I see there are no more posted positions so was just wondering because a lot of mine still reading considering or in process

They said on their info sessions on facebook that they would be conducting interviews from Oct 24- Nov 17. After in process it should go to forwarded to hiring manager or just right to interview to be scheduled. Do you have any that are at the hiring manager stage? I know you applied for ICU/PCU, but did you apply for any other unit? All I know for sure is that they did interviews for ICU at ft worth the first week of interviews because a friend of mine interviewed but she did not get selected. But I don't know about any of the other hospitals

The majority still read " Application in Review Process", I applied to ICU, PCU, TELE through Dallas, Fort Worth, Cleburne, HEB locations. Some did go from considered to filled/not selected. I mean it would be cool to at least get an interview though lol but I wish I knew what they were looking for because total I applied to multiple positions I know over 15 and it's just really depressing

Dont let it be depressing, stay positive and you will end up with a position you want! Some of the positions just may have not interviewed yet too!

Specializes in Critical Care; Cardiac; Professional Development.

It is super competitive. In THR one of the primary things they are looking for is BSN.

I see that now, I will have my ASN right now...had to take a different route for BSN with life's punches. I'm still keeping a look out for anything that comes up at THR, but I did decide to take interviews offered in Houston at Methodist and Ben Taub, just figure if it's meant for me to be back in Dallas and Fort Worth area life will have some way of taking me back there lol. I just know I like the way THR is structured for the Nee Grad and facilitate on a great learning and professional experience
