Texas Excelsior Alumni: Help with Legislation to Protect EC

Nursing Students Online Learning

Texas Excelsior Grads,

Check your emails for a letter from Dean Nettleton regarding House Bill 3230 and Senate Bill 1397. These bills would ensure that grads of competency-based programs (like EC) continue to enjoy unrestricted licensure in Texas. Excelsior could use our help in contacting lawmakers in support of this proposed legislation.

I know that this is an emotional issue for many of us, but it's important that we send professional impressions to our legislators regarding these bills. Think about how Excelsior has helped you achieve career goals. What have you achieved since graduation from EC? How have you changed?

Feel free to send me a PM if you haven't received the email yet. If Excelsior has helped you even half as much as it has helped me, I hope that you'll take some time and write a letter of support.

If they think the CPNE is simply a "check off list" they should be forced to perform it. After a weekend of "checking off" that imaginary "list", they are referencing, I don't think they would continue with the allegation. It never ceases to amaze me how people go all out to denigrate the Excelsior nursing program when they have no concrete evidence to support their accusations.

Intelligence | Insanity. A very fine line. LOL.
