Members are discussing the impact of job offers being rescinded or put on hold in high acuity units like PACU, PICU, and NICU due to the current situation. Some users have not received any communication, while others have been reassured that their job is safe. There is uncertainty about the status of nurse residency programs and concerns about future opportunities if current cohorts are full.
When does the application cycle start? I can not seem to find it on the website.
Thanks in advance!

Unfortunately, interviews are over according to the March 26th-29th timeline, and every year that timeline has been correct based on prior threads and my own experience applying prior. TCH is a silent rejection until a week or so after all offers have gone out, then they send the rejection email. Your status also stays as "under consideration" throughout the entire time until it changes to "not selected.” The second part wasn't specific to you, I just saw a lot of people ask about their status as well.

Do you know anyone else that has been contacted? I know they had said they would get back early this week so I wasn't expecting them to start on Friday

I think NICU and PICU haven't heard back yet
