Hi guys! I wanted to start this thread for the upcoming residency program at Texas Children's. Has anyone heard anything about when the application will open?

Does anyone know how many new grads they take?

I’ve heard nothing and they told me I would hear today so I’m starting to get really discouraged because I keep rejected from places.

I haven’t heard anything yet!! I don’t know anyone that has! Don’t be anxious! We got this!!

Yea I don’t know of anyone that has heard back at all

When I got the call about my top two units which was on the 21st – they told me you either would or wouldn't hear back in the next two weeks. Which would be 4/4. Which is different from what some people were told. So, there is still hope for us all!

I was told I would hear back by today but I would like to know if I was or wasn’t considered

I understand. I wonder if different recruiters have different timelines, or why some of us were told different dates. It doesn't make any sense.

I reached out to my recruiter and she said that managers are still  reviewing apps!

So you guys think we all have different recruiters? I saved the number of the lady that called me, but I’ve been scared to call her cause I don’t know if we are allowed to. I was told that if I was chosen for an interview I’ll get a call by this week or next. Guys! TCH is my last hope
