Texas Children's Nurse Residency July 2022

Hi everyone!! I recently applied to Texas Children's in Houston for the July cohort and was contacted by a recruiter last week. I was wanting to see if anyone knew when we would hear back with any more information? ?

does anyone know what the starting pay is for TCH nurse residency?

also, I heard from someone that one recruiter mentioned that interviews won't start until June for the July cohort? so im not sure if thats true ? I'm hoping that's not the case!

I kinda believe this, sadly. I interviewed with them in early March for the April cohort. So if that's indicative of anything, June may actually be the timeframe...

hi! thanks for answering! can I ask which units you interviewed for and if you remember any interview qs or just general advice for their interviews would be greatly appreciated please!! ?

Hi guys , I don’t think that’s true . After you do the little survey . Different units will go through your selection but you usually hear back maybe 2 weeks after . I heard from a recruiter about an interview last night.

yes you're right! I actually got an interview call 3 days ago for next week for my first choice!! so I am so happy that it wasn't true ?

I’m glad to hear it ! Goodluck ! I know different units may reach out at different times . So to anyone reading this , don’t worry  they could literally call you one day and you’ll have the interview the next .

thank you, you too!! such exciting times and TCH is where I really want to start my nursing career in so fingers crossed whoo! I hope everything works out for us ?

Has anyone heard from west campus? I have only heard from the woodlands but put west campus as my top choice!
