Texas Children's Hospital Fall 2019

Hey everyone! I wanted to start a thread for us August Grads who plan to apply for a position at Texas Children's Hospital in Houston Texas for the Fall 2019 Graduate Nursing Residency!

Has anyone heard of when applications are going to open? Ive been emailing the recruiting office but have had no luck hearing back from anyone.

I interview with them Monday! Laura said be prepared for behavioral questions. What time is your interview?

So they are still interviewing people for other units! Has anyone already interviewed and heard back from the NICU yet? I wonder if they are still deciding? I'm nervous about this week passing by and not hearing anything....

So I think the recruiter won’t call everyone until every unit interviews and decides. I’m guessing once hem/onc is done interviewing and they decided then we will hear back. I’m guessing late next week :(

I think your right actually. I reached out Friday night and got an email saying they can't share anything yet, and they will hopefully be reaching out by Wednesday.

Yah I hadn't heard from Laura since before I interviewed. But I think your spot on with the. finishing the interviews and the decision making.

I interviewed with NICU on 7/31 and hem/once on Monday. When I spoke to Laura to set up the interview she said we should be hearing about NICU sometime this week. Hem/Onc said it may be next week before they have their decision.
