Texas Children's Hospital Fall 2019

Hey everyone! I wanted to start a thread for us August Grads who plan to apply for a position at Texas Children's Hospital in Houston Texas for the Fall 2019 Graduate Nursing Residency!

Has anyone heard of when applications are going to open? Ive been emailing the recruiting office but have had no luck hearing back from anyone.

Which unit(s) are you all interviewing with? Is anyone interviewing with Hem/Onc?

I am! I'm not sure when though because I haven't heard from Laura about an interview time yet.

Thanks guys for the update! I just got a call from Laura and already set up an interview! I'm sure she'll get to everybody by this week! Good luck :)

Congratulations! When she called did she give options for interview times and let you pick what worked best?

Yes! She did, she gave me a variety of days to choose from!

She actually called me to set up an interview with bone marrow transplant instead so I’m not sure what’s going on with Hem Onc.

Anyone heard back this week from the units they interviewed with?

I interviewed with the NICU last Thursday on 8/1 they said the final interview would be that Friday 8/2 and they would be meeting on Monday to decide what to do....

I was told I would hear back for sure by the end of the week. Havent heard back yet. Anyone else? NICU or otherwise?
