Hey Everyone!! I plan on applying to TAMUCC for spring 2018 eline. I haven't seen any threads about spring 2018 so I thought that I would start.

My stats

Overall GPA 3.7

Science GPA 3.5

I plan to take the Hesi in may.

I do have a few questions. Is foreign language required to apply? Can you take patho and pharm at another four year university or do you have to take it at TAMUCC. If there is anyone currently in the program I would love to get your insight on the program.

no, my stats were lower when i applied in fall (3.0 and 2.75 science) i retook two of my science class in the fall and summer 1

How's pharm in class? I got an 85 on the first test. Thought I wouldn't do well at all.

Its going ok so far, i made a 98 on the first test but i heard the 2nd is the hardest, i have a okay understanding of ch10-13 but i still need to focus on the smaller stuff, i start ch 14 tomorrow

You are doing good. I was super nervous and ended up with an 84. Pharmacology is a foreign language to me. Too many drug names to remember....exhausting....

I am super scared with those averages..I am averaging 3.2 for science and overall I think...with 87 Hesi, 850 CC and 88 Reading... I am super scared now!!

WGU is my backup plan if TAMUCC doesn't work-out. I am being optimistic.

lol..you didnt, but those stats did....lol....Its nerve wrecking! they should just send emails with decisions, just like they do with admissions to the university! lol! I am staying positive, and thank you for letting us know those stats.!! as soon as you hear something, please share.

Man if the second test is tougher I need to get to studying a lot harder! I agree they should email instead of keeping us waiting but yes let us know if you hear anything and I'll do the same!
