test bank

has anyone ever purchased a test bank before?

Go check out your school's policy. It probably states very clearly what cheating is. Most schools see using previous exams without the professor's permission as academic dishonesty and a means for expulsion.

So let me get this straight--- If the teacher uses questions from the studyguide for the textbook, and you've seen them too--- than you're cheating?!

That is exactly the same as looking at an old test from 3 yrs ago. If the test has been over (months/years)--- you are not cheating.

Academic dishonesty--- if you use someone elses ideas an claim them as your own, or cheating on a test.... Not learning from past mistakes...

NO that is not the same as the teacher using textbook study guide questions. I can't believe you're trying to justify using past EXAMS to study. An exam is an exam. It's not meant to be recreated or passed around. If someone took the NCLEX, remembered the questions, and wrote them all down and gave it to another person...would you think that was OK?

i suggest you read this thread: understanding academic dishonesty + cheating

an excerpt from the thread......

an desires to prevent academic dishonesty.

please do not post codes for testing materials, questions on tests, answers for any tests or any other material that might be construed as cheating.

additionally, do not ask for codes, questions, or test content via posts, private messages or email.

passing test questions/test banks from on class to the next or to an posters is considered cheating. only legitimate means of obtaining testing material is from established publishing companies that provide review books to the public.
