i found that answering the questions in the book taking chem by itself with no other classes gave me the time i needed to study. chem is the worst and hardest subject in nursing school! hang in there!

i am in a lpn program and our Funds class is ridicoulous no one in the class can keep up...two tests less than 10% of the class passed...she is going way to fast...like we are running out of time...so i understand your dilemma...with chemistry.. i usually read before class try to see what i remember in the study guide and what i don't ...I then review what i forgot...try going online what ever you are covering in class..look for it online...sometimes other peole have better pictures and understanding....

I think the important thing to remember in this class, as in your practice as a nurse is that you will meet all kinds of people and be involved in all kinds of situations. Use the nursing process to figure out what to do. Can you get a tutor? Use the book? Go online? Develop a group to study with. Nursing is about making a plan, implementing a plan, and then evaluating it. I am sure you will do well, or else why would you want to be a nurse!! Good luck
