  1. I work in MOHS surgery as well. In our office we usually go through 5 50ml bottles of Lido a week. Personally I would never use a med more ten 2 weeks old
  2. We have a Histotech that processes the slides. Do you work in private practice or a hospital and what state are you in?
  3. I am an RN in a Mohs surgery clinic. I administer local anesthetic for surgical procedures. We mostly use 1% Lidocaine with epi , buffered of course.
  4. I worked as an Medical Assistant for 13 years before I became an RN. Patients would call me "the nurse" all the time. I always made it a point to let them know that I was an MA and not an RN. I have always had respect for the Nursing profession. I sometimes get defensive when one of the office MA's will not correct a patient when they call them the "nurse". They really don't have a clue about the education and clinicals required for the position! I know, have been there and there is no comparison in schooling! Sorry for the RANT!
  5. Renee, Chemistry is a tuff class no matter where you take it! I would suggest taking this course by itself. You will have to spend alot of time studying but you can do it!;)Good luck!
  6. I work in a surgical private pratice. My hours are 7:30-4:30. There have been times that I went home at 9:00 pm! It depends on the specialty.
  7. Started in 3/03 with prereq's and finished in 4/06. tool necklex in 8/06. Passed. And have been happy ever since!
  8. I love Dansko clogs! They run about $110.
  9. I work as a Mohs RN. It is a subspeciality of Derm surgery. I give local anesthetic, assist the surgeon in removing skin cancers and reconstructive surgery, wound care and suture removal, and patient teaching. I truly love my job!
  10. I graduated 4/30/06 and passed the NCLEX on 9/1/06.
  11. welcome, Rida! Good luck on your boards!
  12. I work for a surgeon in private practice and I get $1,000. Very Nice!
  13. Sorry, but I have to agree with mamason. Totally inappropriate.
