Tennessee College of Applied Technology Mcminnville Hybrid LPN Program

Hello, anyone who is in TCAT Mcminnville taking the LPN Hybrid Program? Please share your experiences. I am to join the college for the program in January 2017. I have to complete A&P and Dosage Calculations courses. I did not make it to start the May classes. Where can i take these classes online? TCAT does not accept Straighterline's A&P. Thanks

I'm not sure. I know we had like 20 people at our orientation. But on the first day of class we started with 10 (supposed to start with 19). But now we are down to 9. I will tell you I am 4 months in and it is not easy because with the hybrid class you are mostly self taught.

Do you need your transcripts before you can enroll in a&p and the dosage classes? I know you have to have them to be accepted in the nursing program but bc I finished my senior yr at pennfoster online highschool they are saying I can't request a copy of my transcripts until April 6th I don't know that they would be back until the deadline for enrolling wasn't up.

other than the self learning, do you like it? What is the schedule like?

It's ok. I'm ready to get into clinicals. We go Mondays and Wednesdays from 8am to 2:30 pm. We do tests on those days and do skills check offs.

I really hope I can get in. I would like to do the actual on campus bc I believe it would be easier but I do have a family so I have to work. Do you know who it stared off so many and went down to only 9?

I guess people decided before hand that the hybrid class wasn't for them. But honestly I don't know. We lost one a week in, not sure why. I haven't talked to her.

You will need a copy of your high school transcript when you apply for the nursing program. You do not need it for the A& P and Dosage Calculations class. These you just register online. You can talk to the Student Services and they will help you with the registration.

You can register online at home. You will just need to call the school to give them your payment details after you register.

I'm applying for Lpn program at the mcminnville location. I will be starting A&P 1 and 2 , dosing cal. soon I'm nervous because it will be online. ANY advice for me?
