Tenent Selling California Hospitals

Published

Sorry that I couldn't find a link, but the LA Times just had a story that Tenent is selling all of their California hospitals, mostly in the LA and OC areas.

Apparently they don't want to pay for earthquake construction upgrades. Does anybody know anything more about this? Are you potentially affected?

I was finalizing a reply to a Tenet thread when I suddenly lost the whole thing! I obviously hit something I wasn't supposed to. I've never posted anything before and now I'm totally flustered and bummed. It's a very emotional topic for me, and I don't have the energy to attempt another reply right now. Extremely frustrated at the moment.

Living the Tenet nightmare continues despite settlement of our 13+ month nursing strike. RNs UNITE! Together we can do anything! We proved it and made history doing it. Things worth fighting for come with a price, and often a very hefty price. But not all change is bad and good things do come from seemingly bad situations. Closing one door opens another. Hope to attempt another post in the near future.

See the thread: For Sale by Tenet.

I couldn't agree with you more on all points made regarding Tenet as well as those concerning NurseWeek's own Carol Bradley making the move to do the Tenet thang. Her credibility & respect - totally destroyed, as far as I'm concerned. I'm obviously not alone. Think she's well-paid? What a stupid question .... DUH!
