I am looking for support and 411 on the Hesi A2...I will be taking it between October 30-January 18th 2018. My hopes are to begin the LVN program in Summer 2018! Reaching out for anyone else going through the process or who has already survived it! It is my general understanding that this LVN Hesi A2 test will only be over 3 components...is that correct? I will also be attending July's Tuesday LVN Information Class in Temple!
Looking forward to responses and connections!!!!

Ok so i called the nursing department at TC and they told me just now that you can only take the Hesi one time at their campus. I was hoping that we could take it as many times but i guess not and we don't have to attend the information session before we take the hesi(i also asked about that).Anyways, we got this ladies!!!!
Hey ladies! So back in 2014 I took the Hesi and made a 87. I am out of district and I didn't take any of the classes. So I used that score to apply for the Lvn program for 2015 at Temple. Sadly I didn't get in. I looked towards Acc Lvn program. I turned in my application. I was accepted. At orientation I was called in the office. I hadnt taken Human Anatomy and they were unsure how i even got in. So on top of nursing classes i also had Human Anatomy. (And if I didn't pass it , I couldn't go on with program until I didí ½í¸²) Ugh!I started Jan 2016. It was very hard. I went for about 3 1/2 months and dropped out. I am VERY disappointed in myself. I should have dropped the Anatomy class and finished out the semester. Then took the Anatomy class by itself(only way I could stay in program) , then finished. But hey you live and learn, right?í ½í¸• I also heard that last year that there was not as many applicants as before the last couple of years and people were getting in without taking the classes beforehand!
Brandiew you definitely get in this round. You know what to expect and you also took the co reqs to minimize the work load. you will get accepted with welcome arms. im ready to get the classes out the way and strive for greatness. We all will be temple nursing students furthering our education becoming the best nurse ever being positive role model to our children, family, and friends. WE GOT THIS!!!

i totally feel you davis..LOL!!! I am on the same boat with you. I have thought of a backup plan if i don't get accepted in the program . I thought about going to a profit school since Cybertex just opened up their LVN program around my area but I am trying to avoid that because i heard alot of horror stories about profit schools and money wouldn't be the problem since the military will be paying for my tuition but i just don't want to wait another year (that's if i don't get accepted in the program).
