Hello, I am currently a junior in Nursing school and I have a project coming up about natural disasters and the nurse's role. My group's topic is Hurricanes.
I would love to know your personal experience while working in the hospital during a hurricane. What was your role? How did it affect patient care? What were the common diagnoses relating to the hurricane?
In advance, thank you for helping me and stay safe!

Have you reached out to nursing groups on facebook? You might be able to find someone to interview through video chat. You probably don't realize this, but ESPECIALLY during a really tough time, you are asking a nurse to take a lot time out of his/her day to reply to this. Good luck!

I agree with Orion81. I could tell you about taking care of patients evacuated from Mercy Hospital in New Orleans but I won't because we're involved in a bigger battle right now.
