Yes, I worked from home for multiple years. We didn't have loads of charting, thank goodness, but there were alot of different processes to follow and EMR systems to navigate depending on the reason for the call and the location in the U.S. the call was coming from. The worst part about working from home wasn't the charting. It was the horrible cabin fever from the isolation of being in my tiny home office where I had to keep the door shut and have my family stay in another part of the house. I worked for 10's. My friend worked 12-hour shifts and loved it.
Thanks Krysy RN! What would u say is the best way to get employed with one of these remote companies. My career goals have really changed and I think this will be the best fit for me. Did you work for several companies? Do you have a suggestion for a starting company ?. Would you suggest reading up on any type of protocols before applying? Thanks in advance?
I work for a company called RelateCare. They outsource various telephone nursing duties for various hospitals and clinics throughout the US. We're located in Cleveland, Ohio and the corporate office is in Ireland. They do hire out of state nurses - if you have a license in a state that they have an account with. I found them on Indeed. They have accounts in OH, FL, WI, MN, TX, and NC. This was my 1st telehealth job.

Hello, I am an RN with my BSN, thinking of working from home. Have any of you had experience working from home or do work from home? Is the charting awful? Like, is it loads of charting. Also, anyone work 3, 12 hours shifts? Thanks, any info is appreciated.
