Telecommute as LPN

Published

Good morning!

Any LPNs out there have experience working from home/telecommuting? I’m especially curious about positions in other states (ex I live in Florida but want to work somewhere based in Washington)

I’m still in my LPN program but I’m curious about what options are out there like that because that would be a pretty cool option for me while I complete my RN program. I have an infant so if I could work from home and go to school that’d be awesome.

Thanks!!

Maybe you can get a job as a nurse case manager. Some places let you work from home. Well I'm on the west coast and they let the nurses here do that.

Those jobs require experience. A brief look at some of the first results on indeed .com show that at least 1 year experience required, preferred 3-5 years plus case management experience.

OP, a work from home job is not going to be very realistic as a new grad. Those jobs require the ability to rely on nursing judgement, which requires experience.

Work from home isn't realistic as a new grad with no experience and also isn't realistic with an infant at home. You will still need childcare. Every new mom out there has wished for this type of arrangement; very few find it and those who do discover that "work from home" does not mean "able to take breaks any time the baby needs me".
