I work from home 100% already for 8 months and I have thought, too I will be missing the social contact. Guess what I do not miss it for a second, I love what I do with so much flexibility and freedom, no stress. I absolutely love it. Oh, if I want to socialize, I go for lunch with the RN's I work with.... at home... If you are a mom, or you have your friends it is nice to work in low stress environment...You will enjoy it...
I am certain I will love working from home. I did online school and woould work for hours and hours. Im an introvert too, so im good alone in a quiet house. My reasons fkr wanting to keep my pt night job is the skill. Ive finally got to the en point in bedside nursing where Im comfortable and I have a great skill set. Also, the company I work for is awesome and I have endless opportunities if the cm job doesnt pan out. I believe if it is as flexible as you describe, I may y be able to manage it. I hope! Thanks!
I guess I misstated in the previous post. I dint have an offer yet, but am being considered for a work at home care coordinator position. Lots of insurance companies offer telecommute positions. I have never had one so I cant give details. Per the job description its work at home 100%. Thats about all I know. Check out humana, bcbs, united Health care, and home health or hospice.
Does anyone have the name of any of the companies? I am looking for a flexible PT telework job, while my hubby finishes school, I currently work FT as a UR nurse for the VA, but i am trying to find a PT job I can do in the evenings for extra cash. I have 11 years of experience with a MSN.

I work two nights a week at a job I love. I recently got an offer for a fulltime telecommute (100% work from home, outbound calls, salaried) position. It APPEARS you can work whatever hours as long as workload gets done. With that flexibility, I was considering keeping my pt nt staff nurse job.I figured I could work a few weekends and just spread out my nights. Anyone else successfully work from home as well as at bedside? I like my staff rn job, plus I want to keep my skill. I figure if it gets to be too much I can go PRN. This telecommute jo sounds too good to be true. But its a reputable company with great reviews.
Anyone telecommute? Whats your schedule like? Thanks!
