TECO Fall 2015 LPN

Hi I just passed me Hesi test yesterday and was wondering if there was anyone who has already been accepted to teco's LPN program for the fall?

Does anyone know if the TECO embroideries finally came in at GQ uniforms?

I didn't know that they were out. I picked up my uniform on Friday... With the embroidery on it.

GQ made me buy the scrubs. Then they sent out my tops to get them embroidered.

If I purchase the ebook for med terminology would I still be capable of using it in class? I don't think TECO has wifi. Also, I don't know if once you purchase an ebook you have to have it connected to the Internet to use it. LOL.

Also, do we need the Davis Drug Guide now? It was at the end of our book list. So I don't know!

Lol, yes you will need internet for the e-books. And yes they have wifi but a login & password is required. I will def ask the instructor tomorrow about the e-books, textbook rentals, laptop, wifi etc.

Oh and in regards to Davis book, I am not so sure. I guess that's another question to ask. :-/

Hey everyone! I hope you are learning a lot and having fun. I hope class is going well for everyone. I am possibly looking at this school and was wondering if you could tell me what the hours are for part time. Also are the books not included in the cost? It seems as if the cost of the school is under 5k and was wondering if anyone used the rest of their pell grant to purchase books?

Hi. We just finished day 2 today & have our first exam tomorrow. So things are pretty tight!

I used the Pell Grant & it paid for the tuition & most of the books. One book would have been paid with the Pell Grant but they didn't order them in time. So we had to buy it. (Medical Terminology). The other book they tell us to purchase elsewhere is the Davis Drug guide. Which is pretty cheap on Amazon.

Thank you so much for responding. I wish you the best on your first exam. I have one more question, if you don't mind. What are the hours for the part time LPN program?

I live in north Orange County and this school is 47 min away from me. This include me taking tolls. I feel like this is the best LPN program and it seems like the NCLEX pass rate is really good. So I don't mind the drive.
