Some daycare offer before and after school care. There are also some that are open 24hrs. I live in FL and would have my son daycare take him to school and pick him up.

I will be in the same position when I start. Stay motivated and remember all the reasons you are going to school. It will be tough and you will be tired but in the end it will be very rewarding! You go this!!!

Thank u so much for the quick response. I am really trying to narrow the schools down. I choose my name to include LPN because every time I see it, it keep me motivated and excited to get started. I know it would be tough but I am ready and excited! I also love how you ladies formed a bond and were willing to share books! I love seeing people work together and achieve success together.

I live in north Orange County and this school is 47 min away from me. This include me taking tolls. I feel like this is the best LPN program and it seems like the NCLEX pass rate is really good. So I don't mind the drive.

Hey everyone! I hope you are learning a lot and having fun. I hope class is going well for everyone. I am possibly looking at this school and was wondering if you could tell me what the hours are for part time. Also are the books not included in the cost? It seems as if the cost of the school is under 5k and was wondering if anyone used the rest of their pell grant to purchase books?

I called Lake Tech and was advise that the part time program alternates every year between the Eutis and Mascotte campus 😂😂😂 So I will have to wait until 2017 if I want to do part time. I really don't want to wait that long and I am unsure about changing my work schedule.

Thanks for your input. I wish you much success and am looking at attending VC. Cambridge is entirely to expensive. Also the benefit of going to VC is you can always go to UCF to get your BSN.

I am considering going to this school as it is cheaper than Cambridge and a little closer to my home. I need to study for the TABE and TEAS. I would like to attend part time. Does the Eutis campus offer part time?

I was contemplating on attending Valencia College, I guess u am not sure which school right now. Quick question did you take your pre requisite at VC. The cost of the nursing program is cheaper than the LPN program at Cambridge Allied Health. So I may just go to Valencia after all. I do not need any other debt. If I do attend VC Nursing program it would have to be in 2016, after we purchase a home. I am excited for you and would love to hear about your Nursing Journey at VC!

I am looking to start going to school for LPN in Oct and I have 6 kids. I work during the day and will go to school M-Th 6-10:30. I am prepared to not spend a lot of time with my family. I know in the long run it will payoff. I have support from my spouse. Not to mention I work from home. My youngest is 4. The hard thing is I will not be home for homework, but I am implementing a plan to have my kids leave their homework out so I can double check. I know my husband will make sure it's done but I want to still be involve.
