Nursing Students TEAS

Can anyone please give me an idea of how difficult the TEAS V test really is?

I have never taken any TEAS test before. So, it will be my first time.

I tried asking this question a couple times in the TEAS exam help forums but no one responds. And forum activity seems very low.

Thanks

Hello!

I took the TEAS V1 Dec. 2017 & passed with a 69.7%.

I bought study books online & studied for about 4 months while also working a full- time job and taking courses.

You deffently need to study for this test if you want to pass !!!

I took this test before & failed it because i did not study!!!!!

This is the website wherw I bought my study book from!!!

It was VERY helpful.... I did not read it all , but just highlighted thw areas where I was weak in and studied thoses!!

Hi, the TEAS V isn't too hard. I got an 84.7% which put me in the 90th percentile. I personally think that the hardest subject on it is Science. I have a pretty good background in all the subjects because I really paid attention and learned a lot from my college classes. If you didn't have a good foundation in one or some of the subjects then I would study hard using as many resources as you can afford. I bought the Pocket Prep app and I would answer questions every other day for 3 months. I also bought the Mometrix ATI TEAS test book which didn't cover enough detail in the science portion of the exam. If you're still in college, I would study from the A&P and chemistry textbook for the science part.

Hi there!

Does anyone know how to calculate the TEAS score ? My school requires a score of "300.00" but I do know where to even find a way to calculate this. I have tried it all.

thanks !

I don't have much background in science. I studied the ATI TEAS book, took all the practice tests, reviewed all the questions and studied further. The majority of the science section was nothing like the practice tests. I bombed it. But somehow I passed the TEAS! I am going to do a whole lot of studying before I actually begin the LPN course.

I also did poorly on science. I did study though using previous TEAS tests and studied the science question furtherly. From all the questions and topics that I studied, I still bombed the science portion. I wished that I brushed up on my math also. I did poorly (and math is one od my strong suit). If I had to take the test again, I would have given myself a day just to catch up on my algebra.
