"And am I in a panic for nothing???"
Yes!!!!
Seriously....it's not that bad. I was freaking out about that test until I took it. I've been out of high school and hadn't seen that material in close to 15 years. If you do that questions in the study guide, and look in the back and read why the answers or right or wrong, you'll be fine.
Just give yourself plenty of time to study. When you go in to take your test, get a good nights sleep, eat a good breakfast and don't forget to breathe. You'll do great!
Just study the manual and you will do just fine. I'm an older student too and took the TEAS last week. I was really nervous and couldn't fall asleep the night before the test. I studied the manual, especially the math and science and it totally prepared me for the test. I also took the online practice exam and it was really helpful. It's only 100 questions but is set up exactly like the real test. Anyway, I passed with flying colors just by studying the manual. I had to review all the algebra, geometry, fractions and percentages. I stressed way to much and found the test to be quite easy.
I too was freaking out about the test until I took it. The program I am applying for is points-based, so I really needed to score WELL and not just pass. Since I haven't had any math in years, I went to local Best Buy and bought a Math software to brush up my algebra. I also was glued to the study guide for days leading up to the test. I ended up scoring super high and am thankful that I don't even have to think about it anymore. If you feel you need it, I recommend it. PM me if you want to know which math software I used. Good luck!!!

I am currently studying for the TEAS. I am a 33m and feel way overwhelmed. Some of the things I see in the study guide are things I haven't touched since high school. I have the study guide and have been on http://www.testprepreview.com. Any suggestions from anyone in the same situation??? And am I in a panic for nothing???
