I have been out of school for over 10 years. I do not remember any of the science or a&p for the Teas. I am very confident with the other sections. I am so worried about science portion. My question is has anyone else been in my situation and studied just the Teas study manual and taken the practice exams and scored well on the exam? I only have 3 months to study this and I am terrified. Thank you in advance.

Just a heads up.....don't spend money on the study guide. It's like 50 bucks and you're only going to use it one time for this test. I got mine at the local library and held onto it for a couple weeks, then gave it back when I was done. You can get free practice TEAS questions online at testpreview.com
My Hero! Im applying at Kaplan College in San Diego, they had me under the impression the TEAS was general ed :banghead: My Test is SATURDAY!! I have general ed down, but probably a good idea to check out this book! LIKE NOW! THANK YOU!!

I live in the Sacramento area too, and will be applying for a bunch of the same programs. Good luck!
Don't worry about the time you haven't been studying. Just do it now! Do lots of practice tests, especially in areas you're uncertain about. I finished a summer session of Microbiology the week before I took the TEAS, so I'd been concentrating on that instead. I started studying for the TEAS about four days before the test and did fine. I'm not trying to act like a rockstar for that - I'm sure that, if I'd taken it cold, I'd have got a much lower score and perhaps not have passed the math portion. Really, if you've successfully completed up through intermediate algebra (or even beginning algebra), it's all review, and pretty basic. You just have to remember how to do the problems quickly and accurately, and the practice tests really help with that.
