TEAS Scores ILLINOIS

Nursing Students TEAS

Published

Hello everyone! As you all know, taking the TEAS test is a necessity for the nursing school application process. I was wondering what you all received on your TEAS test, including individual scores, and school you were accepted into.

I have been taking practice tests and I can't seem to attain a composite score higher than 79%. My strenghts to weaknesses are as followed: Math, Reading, English, and then Science. Science seems to be my biggest struggle. Anyone have any study tips on how to achieve a better score on that portion of the test? Thanks in advance!!

Does your school not have a student development or study center? I actually took a short class at my college that helped prep me for the test. Whether or not it was very helpful or not I couldn't really say except to boost confidence and get familiar with the test. Kinda like why I always tell new nurse grads at my work to take the Kaplan course to get ready for NCLEX. Obviously your school should have gotten you ready for the NCLEX come time for graduation but no matter how ready one is or how expensive the course is, I couldn't rationalize that the confidence boost I got wasn't worth it! Good luck.
