Hello, I don't normally do this ,but I'll be honest.

So I was feeling discouraged about my teas I couldn't pass it. I found the adkins academy, one thousand dollar +,I didn't care about the price cause I just needed to pass. I went through the program, I didn't learn anything, so through the program when I notice that I wasn't learning so I told myself you are paying a thousand dollar for this class l, call the instructor and ask for help, and so i did . His a very busy man which I respect , so after many calls and cancel appointments he finally was able to set a right app with me to help me. He was getting frustrated with me, he sent me to go learn the materials on my own then after that set another appointment if I still need help. I did as I was told but I was embarrassed to call him again so I told myself you are paying so if you have to bother him 24/7 then do that. Anywho I text him what I need help with, he tried to help me but makes me feel stupid. So I just went along the program I tried to learn everything he teach , there was some student that was retaking his class I should have take that as my (so not take his class clue, but I was desperate) so anywho program got done , I didn't feel ready so I didn't take the test , several weeks later while doing some research I found some ati study groups online so I joined and so on I found brandon craft and keshwani on YouTube they are math tutors, and so on I was able to find help with all of the other sections of the teas through YouTube and the Facebook groups. So my point is don't waste your money, there are other way out there, (sorry if the are writing errors, I just received the email form the adkins academy asking me to rate them, It has been almost 1 year now since I took the class I was not even to write a review about them I was gonna keep it to myself, but because I just receive the email stating congratulations rate us on our great work , so I thought hey maybe this is a sign ) (I don't double check for writing errors sorry guys )

Anyone took take from The Adkins Academy TEAS VI Test Prep LIVE ? Was it helpful? please need your feed back. I am planning to take his class soon though it is very expensive.

i found the Adkins Academy to be so helpful! I failed terribly taking the Tease prior to the Adkins Academy and after taking Dr. Adkins live classes in addition to his help and tutoring I passed the Tease test! I now have applied for clinicals. Dr. Adkins was always going out of his way to help by giving me access to his phone number so I could either text or call him with questions at anytime. I honestly would suggest signing up for the Adkins Academy, it was worth every cent. They will do whatever they can to help you succeed! Thank you! Best of luck to all of you!

I'm shocked with all these negative comments about Adkins Academy. I say this because I had a completely different experience with not only Dr. Adkins himself but the way the LIVE program was set up.

I first want to say that I'm a horrible standardized test taker. Prior to signing up for Adkins Academy I went to another center where I paid $499 plus $55 dollars for ATI book. After completing the course I paid $78 and bought the two assessment tests on the ATI website. I FAILED both tests. Not only did I fail in my overall score but I failed a good chunk of individual sections as well. When I saw these scores I panicked and felt desperate. I only had 2.5 weeks until my scheduled TEAS 6 exam. I came across Adkins Academy on my google search and this was the BIGGEST turning point for me. From our initial phone conversation he guaranteed me that 2.5 weeks was enough time for me to pass the test. He made it very clear that I had to be completely focused and dedicated to the program and if I did his packets/lectures I will pass. He said he will do everything on his end but I have to put in work on my end too. It wasn't till I signed up for the class on-line and realized what he meant when he said that. Some of the students in my LIVE class were signed in for the class but where doing other things during class time. For example: one girl was clearly sleeping, another student was eating an entire meal, another student was watching t.v. this is just to name a few. We can't hear each other but I can see what others are doing. If this was an actual classroom would you be doing all these things? Instead, you would be seated at your seat with your books and probably having a snack every now and then. I called Dr. Adkins couple of times and EVERY TIME he answered all my questions and not once I felt rushed.

I started the program September 23, 2018 and I was scheduled to take the exam October 9, 2018 and I passed on my first try. In 2.5 weeks these are some of the major changes: Science score went up 23%, English went up 14%, Reading went up 18%, and Math went up 11%. Once again, like I said I'm a horrible standardized test taker and for me to see these changes in such a small amount of time and pass on my first try, I'm speechless. Without Dr. Adkins and his Academy I wouldn't have passed.

I took The Adkins Academy prep class for the TEAS and I will say it was worth every penny- I got an Advanced score! 87% I could not have done it without this class. Every section is very detailed with many different questions that were extremely similar to the ones on the test. Before I was lost at where to begin when I first sought out to start studying for the test until I was refereed to Dr. Adkins. You will need to review/study concepts that you do not fully understand but he provides you with ALL the information you need! I can not be happier and highly recommend taking this course to insure you get a good score!

I attempted the TEAS exam for the first time in March 2014. I had a lot going on personally, but still had purchased the ATI books/practice tests and put a fair amount of time into using them. I also used the Kaplan book. I had anticipated that my scores wouldn't be outstanding, but figured they'd be sufficient enough. I was wrong! I missed my school's required math score, and just barely met the others.

My school also only allowed a total of 2 attempts at the TEAS exam. Obviously I was under a LOT of pressure, and knew it was absolutely crucial for me to walk in prepared and confident in order to raise my scores. I searched endlessly online for various prep course options, and that's when I came across Adkins Academy for the first time.

I submitted an information request, and I was shocked that Dr. Adkin's called me personally not long afterwards-- in the evening time, after business hours. So I will admit that because of the late and quick personal phone call-- not to mention the steep ($1000) price tag-- I really thought I was being scammed at first! However I was desperate, had read many promising reviews, and appreciated that Dr. Adkin's was very thorough in answering all of my questions.I never felt pressured)! So luckily, in the end I made the right choice! IT WAS THE BEST $1000 I EVER SPENT! Honestly it is a lifesaver... IF you take the classes and information provided seriously! My scores increased so much more than I expected. In fact, the proctor for my exam even seemed surprised at how well I had done and congratulated me as I walked out! I remember feeling so relieved, and like I was on cloud nine.

Fast forward to today, and I am already graduating from my school's ADN program this Spring. I did not even hesitate to register for Dr. Adkin's NCLEX Prep course. I have been planning on using his NCLEX prep since before I even began nursing school, thanks to my experience with his TEAS program.

I'll share my own scores down below. If you're considering the Adkin's Academy, PLEASE do yourself a favor and go for it! You will not be sorry!!!
