Hi, not sure if this is the right forum, feel free to move if not!
I just started my 3rd trimester, first baby, very excited! Totally on board with getting a Tdap at the OB's in a few weeks, asking family/friends who plan to visit our newborn to get theirs or make sure they've gotten it before. My question is ... how long should we ask friends and family to do this for? After the initial flood of visitors, we won't really be around a lot of family until the holidays and baby will be 5-6 months by then. My husband wants to keep this up until baby is at least 1, I personally think that's a bit much, considering baby will have had 3 doses herself by that time. I'm not finding much on the internet beyond recommending the vaccine for visitors seeing a newborn baby, hoping some peds nurses will know, thanks in advance!

You really need to discuss with your pediatrician.
We definitely will, we just won't get to meet them for a couple more months and DH and I keep revisiting the discussion. :)
