What is everyone doing for health insurance? I could have cobra after i quit my job but that will run out before school ends. Doesn't the school offer some type of insurance? I don't know what it cover or how well the coverage is.
I am also trying to figure out how to meet this requirement
TCU offers it, $500 per semester. It is especially great if you will be in Fort Worth throughout the whole program. You can just stop by the health center for all of your healthcare/prescription needs!! Of course, it isn't great insurance, so drive safe, take your vitamins, and exercise ( more so b/c you WILL gain at least 10 pounds)!!!!!

We get a free student membership to the on-campus sports center that has a gym and other ammenities (I haven't seen it yet but heard it's awesome) so that takes care of the exercise part. Apparently on some days we'll have a long break between classes and a lot of people use the gym then. It's over by the football stadium I believe..... My hubbie is covering me under his insurance so I'm safe there.....
I am in the Air Force Reserves and TriCare has been offered to reservists. My premiums are cheaper than what if would cost if my wife had coverage at her job. Our prescription plan is really good. We pay $3 for generics and $9 for name brand. We just switched to this insurance and have already saved alot of money on our meds. The only catch is that I must stay active in the reserves during school. There are a few people in my unit that went to CRNA school while in the reserves, so it can be done.
