Hey Y'all!

I just applied for entrance into the Fall 2017 TCU BSN program. Looking for others who are in the same boat and maybe connect with hopeful future classmates! I attended one of the information sessions in which I was very surprised to hear them tell us NOT to retake any classes we have taken and passed with a C as they only want you to have a 2.5 or better. They said they look really hard at everyone as a person and not off your "book smarts" which I think is how admissions should work for something such as nursing. Little bit about myself I have been a PCT in the Harris ER for a year and a half, CNA license and NHA License as a Certified Electrocardiograph Technician. My GPA is a 2.65 not great, I know. However after this semester I will have completed ALL my BSN prerequisites classes.

My Hesi scores are:

Math 68

Grammar 74

Vocabulary 76

Reading 86

Anatomy 64

Biology 68

Chemistry 72

I'm hoping my personal statement, resume, ROM letters, and experience will help me get in!

Does anyone know of a facebook group or anything like that for people accepted? Whether for all the nursing students or just the accelerated track?

I was accepted into the accelerated program and I was wondering if anyone is looking for a roommate or roommates?! I would really like to live with fellow nursing students! And did we find out anything about the FB page?

I'm currently in the process of seeing places. There's a place that's 2 bedrooms that would be 450 a person close to campus if you want to email me I can give you my number to talk [email protected]

Hey everyone! I too was accepted into the accelerated program, and was also seeing if anyone was looking for roommates? My email is [email protected] , maybe we can all set up a Facebook group for our class so we can talk to each other easily?

I can make the Facebook group, I just need one other person to add me as a friend bc it looks like it won't let me do it without adding one person. Also, I can't make it a group within the TCU community yet bc my TCU email isn't activated, so maybe this can be a temporary group until we all have emails. Prettysing is my username on Facebook so I'll pop up!

Has anyone that got wait listed for traditional nursing program heard anything?
